The Liquor Rooms is first and foremost a cutting edge cocktail bar, lead by Fergus O’Leary and his team of creative liquor craftsmen. They are proud to be the first Republic of Ireland bar ever to be nominated in the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards™, and are multiple award-winners at the Irish Craft Cocktail Awards. They aim to please all your senses with gastronomic thrills, liquors to make your tastebuds sing and unexpected happenings to challenge your mind and delight your dancing shoes. Leave your inhibitions on the Quays and step down into one of their four rooms for an exciting and fun-filled evening in the most chic of vintage surrounds.
The Liquor Rooms is home to Dublin’s best cocktail experience. Having this incredible cocktail and food bar as part of The Clarence complex. Step down into a prohibition-era drinking den that serves up a cutting edge cocktail menu, along with craft beers, whiskies, spirits and fine wines and champagnes. A wonderful contemporary bistro menu is prepared, cooked and served from the on-site kitchen between 5pm and 10pm.
The Liquor Rooms embraces thirsty travellers with huge soft leather couches and bear-hug armchairs. Each room within has its own distinctive personality, a wall of cast iron fireplaces here, a salvaged bandstand there, planted walls that grow into art deco burnished tin ceilings. Cosy snugs, dark corners, somewhere private to flirt or gossip, what’s a den of iniquity without salacious conversation and bumbling loose lips, fuelled by three too many over-proof Rums.
Entertainment at The Liquor Rooms takes many forms from vinyl DJ’s, to weird and wonderful happenings and an old timers piano always lies ready for tunes by visiting friends. Leisurely drinkers can purchase their favourite bottle of hooch, the bar will take it back at the end of the evening, label it and store away in the private liquor cabinet until your next visit.
