THERE WILL BE SOME TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR ON MARCH 30TH FROM 10PM
We’re delighted to host a special Classic Music Company party at the end of March with label boss Luke Solomon and one of the hottest Dj’s on the planet right now Honey Dijon. We hosted Honey’s Irish debut in 2017 and we can’t wait to hear rock our vaults again.
NYC based Honey Dijon was born and raised in Chicago the burgeoning home of house music, where she formed a long lasting friendship with Derrick Carter. After relocating to New York City, Honey also met another music giant – Danny Tenaglia, whose legendary sets at Twilo were also a major source of inspiration. “Danny heavily influenced my sound as a DJ’, says Honey. “The drama of his delivery and risk taking always informed me of how I wanted to present music. Of course, Derrick and Chicago house were also very influential in my development as an artist, so it’s this combination of Chicago and New York that has helped me develop my signature sound.”
Luke Solomon is undeniably one of British house music’s unsung heroes, with an impressive track record of underground success. Don’t believe us? Then read on!
No one could debate Luke Solomon’s dance music credentials. From setting up the seminal label Classic Recordings with Derrick Carter to taking quirky house to the UK Top 10 and international charts, with his band Freaks, to DJing around the globe and performing live, Luke has been there for many of the more interesting 4/4 moments of the last decade.
